If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Edward Sonnenblick requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. →The Pancake of Heaven! March 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Umbergaon, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. David.moreno72 00:11, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Umbergaon, you may be blocked from editing. David.moreno72 00:12, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You guys have insufficient details about Umbergaon & i live in here so i know better than you guys — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shivammahesh7 (talkcontribs) 11:50, June 21, 2017 (UTC)
Shut the nonsense im confident about the details i have edited & the details of umbergaon are irrelevant so i changed it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shivammahesh7 (talkcontribs) 20:28, August 14, 2017 (UTC)
Your edits to Umbergaon are largely promotional in nature. Wikipedia is not a travel brochure, and it's not our place to describe areas or weather as beautiful, or to promote the hotels, sweet shops, or fast food joints. I've removed most of this content here. We need content to be written from a neutral point of view, meaning we don't fawn over subjective things like beauty. If that's difficult for you given that you live in the area, maybe you should find other ways to contribute. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:37, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speed Records (record label) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Speed Records (record label), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page.  — Ammarpad (talk) 13:04, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

DO NOT COPY[edit]

Hi there, I'm an administrator on the English Wikipedia. I have one piece of advice for you that is relevant at Wikipedia, but also in real-life: DO NOT COPY. Ever. You may not copy content from other sources and paste it into Wikipedia as you did at Draft:Speed Records (record label), where you pretty much just copied everything at [1]. Copying is dishonest, intellectually lazy, and in most cases illegal because of copyright laws. Copying is shunned everywhere in academia, and people lose their careers over it. Do not copy content again. If you can't write in your own words, you should not be building articles at Wikipedia. If you do this again, your editing privileges will be interrupted, and I have a very low tolerance for plagiarism and copyright violations. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:20, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Umbergaon. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Diffs: [2] As noted above in a previous comment, Wikipedia isn't an advertising platform, an indiscriminate list, or a travel guide. We're not here to promote hotels and small businesses or to act as tour guides by describing what is "worth to see". That's not neutral objective language, that is an opinion. Additionally, you've provided no proof that the website you've submitted is in any way official. Please stop submitting all of this problematic content. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:32, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

THEY ARE NOT PROMOTIONAL[edit]

I have only added the details about the rest places in near area. if you think that they are promotional then have a watch on this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juhu#Hotels_and_restaurants. and i have many more same links added on more of your pages. sorry sir User:Cyphoidbomb but they are not promotional and i'm not an promoter of any unspecious material — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shivammahesh7 (talkcontribs) 08:20, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Again, re: this, please stop adding promotional content to this article. We're going to have a problem if you can't understand why telling readers that something is "worth to see" is problematic, (Hint: it is your opinion) or that a "world record for most viewed mythological serial" is problematic (Hint: it's puffery that has nothing to do with our understanding of the town). The fact that problems exist in other articles is never a valid reason to add the same problems in another article. "He threw his trash on the street, so I should throw my trash on the street." Now it may be valid to discuss the studio, and to indicate the shows that were produced there, but you need to do that without adding puffery, opinions, or other promotional nonsense. We're not here to sell snacks and fast food or to drive up tourism.
Prescott Valley, Arizona is an example of what your goal should be. Note that there's no indiscriminate list of restaurants and fast food shacks, or hotels. Typically only places that are notable on their own (i.e. the media has written about them substantially and they would possibly have their own article) should be included. Large industrial installations? Sure. Schools? Okay. Transport? Fine. Thakkar's Bakery? No. And you'll notice in the Prescott Valley, Arizona article, that businesses aren't listed indiscriminately, they're included in the context of being the largest employers in the region. Also, the article is well referenced. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:58, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Juhu into Umbergaon. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:28, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted, as you did at Umbergaon. Please take this opportunity to ensure that you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 08:10, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked for this 17 December 2017 edit at Umbergaon. I made it very clear to you on 27 November, that you are not allowed to copy content and paste it into Wikipedia, because it is intellectually dishonest and lazy to commit plagiarism and copyright violations. Your content contains phrasing found here, specifically this content: "Vrindavan studios was setup in 1978 by Bipin Hirabhai Patel, an art director and a veteran of mythological films. Patel used his contacts in the Mumbai film industry to court producers during the video boom of 1980s." As I noted, I have a very low tolerance for plagiarism and copyright violations. If you do it again, your next block will be for significantly longer.
Additionally, any unsourced content in that article is at risk for deletion, especially the stuff that sounds like it came out of a tourist brochure. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 08:16, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Do you really think that by changing a few words, you can circumvent our copyright policy? Surely that's not what they told you in whatever schools you attended, right? Do not copy content, and do not closely paraphrase content. All content must be written in your own words, which this is clearly not. If you do it again, you will be blocked again. If you can't write well in English, perhaps you should find a Wikipedia in your native language that will be easier for you to contribute to. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:41, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Shehzad Poonawalla[edit]

Hello Shivammahesh7,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Shehzad Poonawalla for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was previously deleted by a consensus decision.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Akhiljaxxn (talk) 11:59, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Shehzad Poonawalla.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Deletion discussion about Shehzad Poonawalla[edit]

Hello, Shivammahesh7,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Shehzad Poonawalla should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shehzad Poonawalla .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Akhiljaxxn (talk) 09:24, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Shehzad Poonawalla, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jai Shri Ram; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Speed Records (record label), a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:23, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Shivammahesh7. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Speed Records".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:06, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
